The holidays are over, and it was great to have all
our friends and family visit to celebrate with us! All the sporting events
are great to watch with the "gang" on the new big screen TV that Santa
brought us for Christmas!
Entertaining our guests is great fun, but our carpets
will inevitably become soiled from the increased traffic and food spills.
Snow, salt and ice melting products also get tracked into our homes and end
up accumulating in our carpets as well. Some of these corrosive products can
physically damage our carpets if they are allowed to remain for extended
periods of time.
Many different types of soil have been trapped in your
carpet's pile over the long winter months. If these contaminants are not
removed, mold and bacteria will begin to flourish. As these
organisms begin to multiply and feed, they will produce an unpleasant and
unhealthy environment. Conditions like these also create an ideal breeding
ground for dust mites!
If you have
pets, the hair and dander that is trapped deep in your carpet will begin to
decompose. Sometimes our pets get sick or have an accidents on the
carpeting. You probably didn't get all the residue out by cleaning the
messes up yourself. During the holidays, there probably were numerous food
and drink spills on your carpets. More food for these tiny microbes!
We can deep clean your carpets, and remove these unpleasant, odor causing
contaminants and allergens. Keeping your carpets clean
not only improves their appearance, it eliminates the life robbing
abrasive soil that accumulates deep in your carpet's pile. If you have
allergy sufferers in your home, their symptoms should improve substantially
by improving your entire indoor environment! So give us a
call today to discuss your carpet and upholstery cleaning needs!
