My name is Dan Ausili, and I have been the owner and operator of Hydra-Clean since August 1, 1983. Hydra-Clean was founded in May, 1975 by G. E. "Scotty" Scott, and was one of the first carpet cleaning companies in central Illinois to use the newly developed truck mounted hot water extraction carpet cleaning system. This new technology revolutionized the carpet cleaning industry. Wall to wall carpets could now be cleaned thoroughly in the customers home with better results and faster drying time. Hence the phrase "Mobile Carpet Cleaning Plant" was born. I worked part-time for Scotty for several years until he retired, and I learned a great deal from him.

Since its founding, Hydra-Clean has been known as a quality oriented cleaning company. We strive to achieve total customer satisfaction, and to be the best in our business. Our equipment is always clean and meticulously maintained. The cleaning chemicals that we use are formulated by professionals, and are thoroughly tested. They are environmentally friendly, and they are safe for your carpets and home. Our technicians are always well groomed, well trained, courteous, and honest. We are prompt, very careful when we work, and we take the time necessary to achieve the highest level of results. We listen to our customers needs, and provide solutions to their carpet and upholstery cleaning problems. Advice is always free, and we never try to sell an unneeded service or product to our customers.

Mr. Scott achieved a high standard of excellence when he operated Hydra-Clean, and that tradition is carried on today. Continuing education is a priority at Hydra-Clean, and we stay abreast of the technological advances being made in the carpet fiber industry. Newly developed carpets need to be cleaned with specially formulated chemicals and cleaning techniques, and we are proud to be able to clean these fibers effectively and safely.
